Assuming skincare breakouts have been ruled out (this is also something we’ll talk about more during our acne series), then you’ll want to look at supporting your digestive health when tackling chronic acne.
Studies show that people with acne – compared to the average population – suffer more from imbalances in their gut bacteria.
And folks with rosacea and acne rosacea are 10 times more likely to have this imbalance!
As we go through the series, we’ll talk about ways to go about supporting your gut health, but in the meantime, start looking for ways to work prebiotic foods into your diet 🙂
