Grounded Sage Skincare evolved from a desire to care for my skin in a way that put wellness, gentle understanding, and nourishment at the forefront. Those themes continue to grow in my life here on the east coast 🌊🌲. ⁣

You may have noticed I’ve been relatively quiet around here, but I’m wondering if all of us are spending a little less time on social media these days? 🤔⁣

I’m finding that little moments I have during the day outside of work and animal care are better-spent forest bathing🌲, walking with a close friend🐕, and taking the time to take some deep breaths😌. ⁣

Embracing whole body, wholehearted wellness (not just for my skin, but for ALL of me) is a concept I’m enjoying exploring again (after a considerable hiatus on that front)💫. ⁣

This move has been good for me on a soul level. It feel like we wake up at a cozy cottage each morning because we’re surrounded by nature with weather that feels more like fall (despite it being summer).⁣

It’s comfortable, cozy, and the perfect space for putting down deep roots. Plus, the leaves are changing colour already! The idea of experiencing all the seasons in a new way is giving me all the feels!🌷🌻🍂☃️ ⁣

Autumn is by far my fav season so to experience more of that autumn feel has me excited about what the future might bring …. Including the launch of our autumn collection this Saturday! ⁣

Lavender, fresh air, and room to roam - what’s not to love 💜💚! ⁣⁣

Between restocking products as quickly as I can, we’ve taken a few brief moments to explore the province we now call home.⁣

We’ve visited a lavender (and hops) farm, two covered bridges, a used book sale at the local library, and a cute country artisan shop… and all (except for one of the covered bridges) are only a few minutes down the road from us. ⁣⁣

Our new surroundings have me inspired to create and so grateful for the opportunity to plant our roots in such a beautiful place 🌱. ⁣

The online shop is now open, but stock is super limited. Please bear with us while we restock products (many of which we’ll need to get the ingredients for before making them). ⁣

We’ve only been here a couple of weeks. It’s been a total whirlwind of sorting out boxes 📦, decluttering equipment & supplies from the business that was previously on the property ⛳️, meeting neighbours who have stopped by to introduce themselves 👋, getting the sanctuary animals settled in with proper housing and fencing (it was a big move for the animals too!) 🐑, finding our way around, etc. etc.…⁣
⁣
I’m looking forward to getting back into a routine with Grounded Sage but am also mindful of easing into things and not taking on more than we (and I) can handle. ⁣
⁣
