Grounded Sage’s beloved whipped foundation (that’s arguably a skincare product first) is back!
One of the most requested products to bring back to our line has been our Whipped Foundation.
So many of you found it works as a skincare product while ALSO providing natural, buildable coverage – especially for our extra sensitive peeps with reactive or inflammation-prone skin.
We originally discontinued the whipped foundation well over a year ago but the requests kept coming for us to bring it back.
Many of you have spoken to me in private about your frustrations in the pursuit of finding a suitable alternative ?. A few of these conversations wormed their way into my brain and would haunt me as I felt like I was letting you down!
I try to have excellent boundaries around my work life and not put too much pressure on myself or my team to meet all the expectations, demands, and requests that come in (definitely not complaining!).
We do what we can without burning out or taking on too much. This way of working allows us to help multiple charities each month ??, start our own animal sanctuary ???, and hold space for amazing conversations both online and off. … and of course continue to make clean, natural, cruelty-free skincare! ?
Now that we’ve started a new year and have cozied into a work routine that lights us up, we knew bringing back the Whipped Foundation was a top priority! ?

Ingredients That Makes Grounded Sage’s Whipped, Natural Foundation So Awesome for Sensitive Skin, Acne, Redness, and Rosacea:
Aloe Vera: A super hydrator known for its ability to balance and regenerate skin. It also contains shaman-like healing properties that aid in the calming and healing of acne and irritated/sensitive skin.
Calendula Extract: This plant extract is derived from the marigold family and is known in skincare for its ability to be a strong anti-inflammatory thanks to the rich flavonoids this plant is packed with. The combination of oils and acids in this extract are also famous for being fantastic antibacterial support for the skin, keeping acne-causing bacteria and others at bay.
Jojoba Oil: This moisturizer is like a second skin…. Literally. Jojoba oil is like our natural sebum’s identical twin and helps replenish the essential fatty acids needed to repair and protect our lipid barrier.
Shea Butter: This natural butter is rich in vitamins A and E that provide antioxidant protection from free radicals. It’s lightweight, yet rich consistency makes it easy for our skin to absorb where it delivers healing and anti-inflammatory to an inflamed/irritated skin. Vitamin F also promotes collagen production to help slow down the signs of ageing and maintain elasticity, keeping skin soft and supple.
Vitamin E (derived from sunflowers): A powerful antioxidant that helps protect your skin from damaging toxins and free radicals from pollution, drugs, or UV light (the sun). Vitamin E also reduces the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. It also plays a huge role in many of my products because it helps keep ingredients from being oxidized and turning rancid.
